Mimitsu, Miyazaki is quite a place. There is a lot of history in those houses. I'm not used
to very old houses. I'm from Southern California. We have some old missions, but it's not the same.
I went fishing in Mimitsu once. The people there asked me why because people from Mimitsu go to Nobeoka
to fish.
Believe it or not, I actually metal detected this beach. I spent a couple of hours, but I didn't find
a thing.
It's almost always too windy to be able to enjoy a day at the beach in Japan. I'm used to the quiet
beaches of Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, and Corona Del Mar, California.
